Driver indicted on upgraded charges for fatal wrong-way crash on I-71

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A grand jury has upgraded the charges against a woman accused of driving the wrong way on I-71 and killing another driver. Sabrina McKinney now faces aggravated vehicular homicide charges. Police say McKinney drove an SUV the wrong day down an exit ramp from Reading Road on May 19. Video from the Ohio Department of Transportation shows the SUV cross three lanes of traffic and slam into another car. Both drivers were taken to UC Medical Center but the other driver, Tyson Guy, later died from his injuries. Police said at the time, they believed McKinney was un the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. A judge allowed McKinney to be under house arrest with an electronic monitoring unit. She is not allowed to drink alcohol or drive.
