PRESS RELEASE 5th March 2012: Nigeria: One Heart, One Mind, One People Project "To build a nation where peace and justice shall reign"...these simple yet strong words from our National Anthem are one that we as Nigerians desire for our beloved country, Nigeria. With Nigeria continuing to loose very valuable lives every day in communal clashes, bomb blasts and other such vices, we find ourselves at a point where we need to step up and cry for a change. We at X2D in partnership with a representation of Nigerian Christian Music Artistes under the umbrella of " The O.N.E Movement'' have therefore created the One heart, One Mind, One People project to promote unity and foster peace through music and other entertainment media. Music has been known as a powerful tool used to inspire and promote socioeconomic reform in many nations. The aim of this project is therefore to use this strong tool to promote positive mindsets with messages of oneness, unity and peace. The first leg of the project was the creation of a Peace song which was released to the public on the 4th of March, 2012. The Video Shoot for the song, directed by Award winning Gospel music producer & Video Director, ToluCCi took place on the same day in Lagos with over 20 Music Artistes present. According to Deji Irawo, CEO of X2D "This project will provide opportunities for us as creative people to make a visible difference through music and other media to bring people together, not considering their tribe and religion. It will promote peace and build a better Nigeria we can be proud to leave for our children." X2D is a kingdom entertainment outfit with presence on 19 Television stations across Nigeria, Africa and the UK.
