Forecast Update 8/2/22 Look for mostly sunny skies tomorrow morning as you are heading out your front door for work with temperatures starting in the mid-upper 70s before warming up to the low 80s. Into the afternoon tomorrow, expect partly to mostly sunny skies. Once the daytime heating taps into the Seabreeze, there could be a couple of isolated showers/storms. These storms will be capable of producing heavy rain as well as frequent lightning. Due to hardly any rain heading our way over the next seven - 10 days, temperatures will remain in the upper 80s and low 90s. This will also cause the humidity to remain high as well 🙁 Some good news is that the tropics continue to remain quiet thanks to huge plums of dust coming off the African coast. However, don't let this quietness fool you. According to past years, August and September have been known to be the most active months of the hurricane season. So be sure to keep a very close eye on the tropics over the next several weeks!
