Serve garnished with onion and tomato slices. Fruity Bread Surprise: Ingredients Bread deep fried 8 Water 1 ½ cup Sugar ¾ cup Fruit cocktail 1 tin Peach 1 tin Ingredients for Custard Milk 3 cups Custard powder 2 tbsp Condensed milk ¾ cup Corn flour 2 tbsp heaped Coco powder to dust Vanilla essence ½ tsp Cream 1 packet METHOD FOR CUSTARD Boil milk, add custard powder, cook until custard slightly thick, remove and cool, add in condensed milk, vanilla essence and cream. METHOD Cut breads into rounds with cutter, deep fry till light golden, remove, cook water and sugar in a pan, remove and cool, dip your fried bread rounds in sugar syrup slightly and press between your palms to remove excess syrup. TO ASSEMBLE Spread little custard in a platter, top with slight soaked bread rounds, top with fruits and peach halves on each round, top with some more custard, dust with coco powder, serve chilled. Reshmi Hareesa: Ingredients Crushed wheat ½ kg Chicken tikka boti ½ packet Clarified butter ¾ cup Ginger garlic 2 tbsp Salt 2 tsp Chili powder 1 ½ tsp Coriander (roasted and crushed) 1 tsp Turmeric powder ½ tsp Allspice powder 1 ½ tsp Green chilies (finely chopped) 8 Mint leaves (finely chopped) 2 tbsp Lemon juice ¼ cup Onion (thinly sliced) 1 Ginger (finely sliced) 2 tbsp Cumin seeds 1 tsp METHOD Soak the wheat for 24 hours. Heat clarified butter, fry ginger garlic, add chicken tikka boti along with salt, coriander, turmeric and cumin seeds, fry well, add water, cover and cook till tender, add wheat and hot water, cook on medium heat for about 1 hour, stirring regularly and keep on adding water as required. Lastly add allspice, green chilies, mint leaves, lemon juice, remove from fire and give temper with brown onion and chopped ginger.
