First Time Playing God Of War Ragnarok, Did Atreus CREATE The WORLD SERPENT?

This is part 7 of my first playthrough of God of war Ragnarok. Atreus is still in the dreamworld of Jothenhiem with Angrboda, but her grandmother Gryla is a crazy old lady who likes to steal the souls of the forest animals and eat them. We went to her house to rescue a wolf she took away to eat, and she is massive, some giants are actually giants in this game. We had to fight her after letting the wolf free, and she doesn't like her grand-daughter at all, she said the nastiest things about her and her mother. We found a snake there she had stolen the soul of, and Atreus used one of the rocks with the soul of the giants to put it inside it. It came back to life but slithered away immediately, I believe thats actually the world serpent that we see in the game. He left, but when he woke back up in the real world he was in his Cabin rather than Sindri's house. Kratos found him there, but Freya attacked them wearing her Valkyrie armor, but she decides to join us after seeing that Atreus has powers she's aware of in the prophecy.
