June 7th drive in worship at the future site of Joyful Spirit UMC's new building

We held two worship services this weekend - our worship-from-home series as usual in this time of shelter-at-home and then this service, very similar, but officiated at our building site, just outside of Wadena, MN on 29. Fellow worshipers stayed in their cars and Pr. Amy officiated from atop a trailer with a three-sided tent protecting her from the wind and sun. The song you hear was pre-recorded by each Praise Team member and then each track was laid together using Thomas's far-out techie skills and the free software called Audacity (as we have done for the worship-from-home series). All helpers, those that had to be out of their vehicles to help officiate service, practiced social distancing and wore masks. All cars were parked 10 feet apart. And if we handled anything with our hands, we wore gloves.
