Firefighters battled to contain wildfires in southwest France as a fierce heatwave in western Europe threatens to smash more temperature records in several countries on Tuesday. Joining FRANCE 24 is Simon Tett, Research Scientist and Chair of Earth System dynamics and modelling at the University of Edinburgh's School of Geosciences Research.
