Leadville Hagerman Tunnel Hike

Before racing the 2023 Leadville back burro race I explored out to the Hagerman Tunnel. Beautiful hike with lot's of Colorado mining history. The trail traces old rail tracks, and the Douglass City remnants. The old rail tracks through the tunnel stay frozen even in the middle of summer. (Be careful! A gentleman in a different group fell through a weak spot in the ice!)
