Little MIXER plays Castlevania - WHIP ONLY, No Sub Weapons

This is an amazing game, and while I've already played through it on stream, I decided to play through it again, but this time not using a single sub weapon and using only the whip. Things got rolling quickly, as I encountered very little resistance until I reached level 5, and encountered Death. This fight proved to be extremely difficult, as the blades he summons are random, attack randomly, and don't always appear in the same time intervals. Not to mention getting to him with plenty of health is also a problem, as the hallway that leads to him is full of medusa heads and two axe throwing knights. After many failed attempts, Death went down and it was on to the last level. Dracula wasn't too bad, and went down after several tries and changing strategy a bit. After defeating him, I played the first two levels with just using the default, leather whip the gauge the difficulty, and it wasn't too bad, but I imagine the deeper levels(5) would make things very tough.
