In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, Fr. Steve Correz sits down with medical professionals to discuss the intersection of mental health and the Catholic faith. For ministry support groups and events, visit https://catholicmhm.org/orange --- As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, a green bench was installed on campus through the Green Bench OC – Promise to Talk campaign, a mental health stigma reduction initiative from Providence’s three Orange County hospitals: Mission Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital, and St. Jude Medical Center. The bench was blessed by Bishop Freyer during an unveiling ceremony on May 28, 2024, and now stands as a visible reminder of the Church’s ongoing support for mental health in our parishes and communities.
