To achieve a smooth, full-bodied coffee every time, it’s important to regularly change the water filter in your Barista Express® espresso machine. A regular water filter change will prevent limescale from building up in your machine and soften the water texture, consequently improving the flavor and taste of your coffee. Directions: 1. Remove and drain the water tank and discard the used water filter. 2. Soak the new water filter for five minutes then rinse and assemble to mesh. 3. Set the new filter date to two months ahead and install the water filter into the tank by clicking into place. 4. Fill the tank to the max line and reinstall the water tank in to place. Remember to the replace the filter after 90 days or after 10.6 gallons. Keeping your machine clean is key to great tasting coffee and machine longevity.
