** New/second attempt at a UE4 turn-based system here: • UE4 Turn Based RPG (v2) ** A quick look at some basic RPG systems I made in Unreal Engine 4, specifically a turn-based battle system and basic interior/exterior exploration. Inspired heavily by Dragon Quest VIII. This is something that I work on in my free time, so there's really not much more to it than what is shown in this brief video. It's mostly just meant to be a prototype/proof of concept sort of thing. Everything was scripted with Blueprint. Models and animations were all done with Maya. 'Advanced Cel Shader Pack' was used (which can be bought on the Unreal Marketplace) . All the music and sound effects are from license free sources.
