"The Bane of Booze" (The Curse of Alcohol) -- Pastor DAVID MARTIN

Sermon preached at SOLID ROCK BAPTIST CHURCH (Bartlett, Tennessee): This is a topic that is very personal to me because my youngest daughter became addicted to alcohol, and as a result is now serving a 15 year sentence, doing "hard time" in a California State Prison for a drunk driving incident in 2018. She asked me, as a preacher, to warn people against alcohol addiction, and to tell her story as a warning to others. In this sermon we address one of the most detrimental problems in any society. We address the Bible viewpoint concerning alcohol usage, and the various negative effects of alcohol consumption. Our purpose is to point people to Jesus Christ as their Savior and Friend, and as the Answer to any sin or sinful habit, and in this case the particular sin of drunkenness.
