Title: "Discourse on History in the Malaysian Public Sphere" Discourse on history in the Malaysian public sphere has changed in recent years. Made possible by the technological advancement in the Internet and social media, discourse on history is no longer the preserve of the professional historians or teachers of history. Neither is it restrictive nor confined to the occasional letters to the editors. Instead, there is greater room and platform for history to be discussed in the public spheres. This change also has allowed many, including ordinary people, to carry out research on history, and therefore, taking on the role of being a Netizen historian.
