Welcome back to the Wxcenter! Our area of interest has now received the designation Invest 93L from the National Hurricane Center. The small low pressure center is already trying to over-achieve as it sits over open water slowly moving towards the Florida east coast. As of now, it is somewhat lopsided, with some wind shear acting to tear down thunderstorms to its north keeping the heaviest rains and wind along its east and southern sides. This could change especially after it rocks across the Sunshine state of Florida. Then we shift gears further away, out to sea. The Main Development Region has warmed quite a bit over the last two weeks, with more warming expected before we wrap up the month of July. Models are also starting to signal the area off the west coast of Africa might be getting ready to wake up... We'd love to have you as a part of our growing Wxcenter community! Stay informed. Stay prepared. Subscribe for accurate, reliable, and timely tropical weather updates!
