Yoshi's Island 100% - Part 1 : Make Eggs, Throw Chain-Chomp

Well, after the intense, action-packed game of Megamari, it is time to calm back down with something a little more light and fluffy... but only a little more! Yoshi's Island for the SNES is certainly not a cakewalk of a game if you intend to complete it 100% as finding all the collectables and maintaining 30 stars can get pretty tricky in later stages. That said, it is still leagues easier than Megamari, soooo... After a game such as this that is very fun to play through, has a great soundtrack and gameplay that is just right, the train wreck that was Yoshi's Island DS was so painfully disappointing. Due to the game over-complicating things with the multiple babies (oh gods multiple different crying sounds WHY?!), and the soundtrack being HORRID due to the DS having a terrible default soundfont... yeah, never even finished playing the game. The SNES version does have a remake on the GBA that has an extra level in each world, but the original SNES version is definitely the best (screen size and audio quality and all that). Anyways, first up in this video after the rather long and cutesy intro is the game's first couple of basic stages. What I am going to do with this playthrough is do videos of two levels each, while having a video of just the bonus stage at the end of each world (as the worlds have 9 levels with that bonus stage, and doing 3 levels per video would get too length later on). The run shall also be 100% completion and, most importantly, I REFUSE to get hit during these videos! Baby Mario's crying is just so insufferable that when recording these, I hit the load state button to take me back to the world map the INSTANT I recognized I had gotten hit just avoid hearing that sound. No other game gives you more incentive than this one as that crying sound is just THAT annoying! Sometimes the little bugger floats away from you so you have to spend quite awhile chasing him, too, which means even MORE crying and AAAAGH!
