At his State of the Union Address, President Biden continued to insist that the Republicans are the bad guys who want to cut or even abolish Social Security for millions of senior citizens. He failed to mention that when he was in the Senate, he called for spending cuts across the board --including Social Security. And so have many Republicans in the past.
