In a battle between No.12 Syracuse and No.4 Louisville, the Orange came up on top 3-2 to stay undefeated at home. Graduate forward Quirine Comans picked up 2 goals, including the game-winner, to propel the Syracuse offense. Sophomore Willemijn Boogert added a goal as well. All the game's scoring came in the second half, as after Comans' first goal in the third quarter, the Cardinals came back with a goal each by Katie Schneider and Aimee Plumb. Boogert's and Comans' second goal won the game for the Orange in the comeback effort.
