JORDAN PETERSON EXPLAINS WHY ADHD EXISTS - During a lecture on psyschology Jordan Peterson explains how ADHD found its place in society. The creation of schools and the educational system forces children to be sat all day listening to bring things when they should be outside playing and wearing themselves out. Instead they're forced to sit still and in silence and pay attention for hours on end. This is unatural for the child and we wonder why they find it hard to concentrate. The solution is to diagnose them with ADHD and give them amphetamines which allows them to sit still and focus. It's interesting that ritaline use hasn't shown any results of increase in grades however. It's also interesting to note that the restriction of play furing a childs years hampers the development of their neocortex, especially the development of social skills which isn't a good thing for kids these days.
