Optical illusion - physics experiment

http://www.fizik.si Which curved rod is longer? Upper or lower? Though wooden circular rods are accordant to each other, lower arc looks longer than upper one. This optical illusion occurs because a human eye compares only closer edges of both objects. The length of both edges is really different, we have the feeling that objects are of different sizes. This is physics experiment for science project. http://www.fizik.si Čeprav sta lesena krožna loka skladna, izgleda spodnji lok daljši od zgornjega. Ta optična prevara nastane zato, ker človeško oko primerja le bližnja robova obeh predmetov. Ker se dolžina robov res razlikuje, imamo občutek, da sta predmeta različnih dolžin.
