I sat down to watch the Nintendo Direct from September 12, 2025. From Super Mario Galaxy and Galaxy 2 remasters to a brand-new Mario Tennis Fever, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, and even a full-on Super Mario Galaxy Movie coming next year. Nintendo also dropped huge updates: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond hits December 4, Pokémon Pokopia is real, Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave looks sharp, and Super Mario Bros. Wonder: Switch 2 Edition is adding a whole new adventure. On top of that, third-party bombs like Hades II, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, Fatal Frame II Remake, Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, and even Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection rounded things out. Plus surprises like Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, Kirby Air Riders, Virtual Boy Classics, and new DLC for Donkey Kong Bananza.
