A band of rain will move its way northeastwards pushing across Sussex, Kent and potentially parts of East Anglia before clearing by the early hours of the night. Elsewhere there will be scattered showers, however mostly confined to northern Scotland, Wales, and southwest and central England. By early tomorrow morning, most of these showers will have cleared, before a second band of rain pushes in from the west bringing a wet start to the day for Lancashire and Cheshire particularly. A mild start for most but a little chillier in central Scotland under clear skies. -This is the Met Office UK Weather forecast for the evening of 05/06/2025.
