"Trial of Seven...gods...There were no gods there, only monsters" -Duncan the Tall, probably Joke aside that's the fantasy I was looking for. There's nothing more badass than sick ass looking knights let their styles talk for themselves and battling without the hollywood rules of cool. The claustrophobic hand held shots really sells the nervousness but also dynamism behind these chaotic close fights, Aerion's combos were so hype The music is just a personnal cherry on the top, the original tension was excellent but after the relief, you realize how messy and realistic it was, and that's what made it epic too Wanted more of a compilation of the moves pulled, of the choregraphy, it's more fitting to put such music than with the actual episode's pace. Like I said, when you're off the tension, you're realizing, damn this is where the myth of Duncan the Tall begins, dude looked like he was dead but then revived by the Seven. The fight he pulled was almost mystical. Yes the fight is sluggish and heavy, but it can also feel very cinematic and video game-y with the camera movements, so I got a little greedy and emphasized another "vibe" of the fight. The fight was very evocative and extremely cool without tryharding. Which I think is great strenght too Music used : -The Witcher 4 - No Gods...only monsters -The Witcher 3 - Steel for Humans
