Soya Chunk Cutlet. This is a real easy recipe. And will not feel like it is soya chunks. Tastier than cutlets we get in bakery. Ingredients: Soya Chunks - 1 cup Mashed potatoes - 2 Onion - 1 small Garlic - 8 pods Green chilli - 1 small Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon Oregano - as required Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon Chilli powder - 1 teaspoon and a bit more Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon Fennel powder - 1/2 teaspoon Bread Crumbs Procedure: 1. Soak 1 cup soya chunks in boiled water for 30 minutes 2. Drain water and then squeeze out water from soya chunks - careful, this will be hot 3. Grind the soya chunks in a mixer 4. Boil 2 potatoes, peel off the skin and mash them 5. Chop 1 small onion, 8 pods garlic and a small green chilli into small pieces 6. Heat a container and add oil 7. Add the chopped garlic 8. Followed by 1 teaspoon ginger paste 9. Saute it 10. Add the chopped onion and green chilli and saute well 11. Add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp chilli powder, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp fennel powder and saute well 12. Add the soya chunks into the this and saute well 13. Transfer the sauted mixture to a bown 14. Add the mashed potatoes 15. Add Oregano 16. Mix well with hand 17. Roll into a ball and flatten into the shape of cutlet 18. In another small bowl take 1 tbsp of maida and 1 tbsp corn flour and add little water to make a 'not thick not loose' mixture 19. Dip the cutlet in the mixture above, roll it in bread crumb Cutlets are ready to be fried. Keep the excess in freezer and take out as per requirement. 20. Fry in medium flame. Serve hot!
