SOAR 2012 Pictured Rocks Backpacking

During this trip you will hike along part of the 42 mile North Country National Scenic Trail. The trail hugs the shoreline of Lake Superior, providing hikers with amazing views of sandstone cliffs, sand dunes, waterfalls, lakes, and forest. Your days will be filled with casual hiking and backpacking to new camp sites as you make your way to your final destination. In the evenings you will to cook, hangout, and build those relationships that will help you get off to a good start at St. Scholastica. While you're on this trip the leaders will provide you with as much knowledge and wisdom to have a good time and to prepare you for the next few years that you will spend in college.
