At this point I feel like it can objectively say that 10V class steels make the literal cut, in the manner I want them do better and for longer than lower carbide steels. High vanadium carbide, non-stainless steels at high hardness are really my go to right now for edc blades in the form of 10V, K390 and maxamet. K390 and 10V perform very close but maxamet is slightly different overall. Regardless they all keep those awesome carbides as little teeth while the steel breaks down around them leaving an edge that keeps performing when I need it. With a diamond or CBN strop those carbide teeth can be polished up and it keeps trucking along. Nonaffiliated link: https://knifejoy.com/spyderco-c11fpk3...
