Filipino protesters burn caricatures of Trump and Duterte

(10 Nov 2017) Dozens of protesters burned a banner depicting US President Donald Trump and Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte in Manila on Friday. They were demonstrating against an upcoming visit to the Philippines by the US President. Members of an alliance of poor urban activists held the demonstration at a bridge near the presidential palace, chanting "ban Trump in the Philippines." Trump who is currently touring Asia, is due to arrive in Manila on Saturday to attend a summit of regional leaders in the country next week.
