Genifer passed away. Her life span was short but not uncommon. She laid four sacs, and spent the last three months guarding them - one after another. When the last one didn't hatch, she just seemed to just give up. Only one of them produced viable offspring, and even then, only five slings survived and are growing very slowly. She is perhaps the most unique being I've encountered. She has touched the lives of tens of millions, and changed the way many of us view them. No living spider has had more shares or greater reach, with over 7-million in the past week alone. I wish we'd had more time. But the time we shared and memories we created live on. R.I.P. Genifer. Sweet-sweet girl.
