The mission of St. John AME Church is to take whatever things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, and virtue, and make these things a reality, not only in our church, but also in our community. We will accomplish this by taking the ministry of our Lord, Jesus Christ, to the people. God has called us to stand in the gaps of our communities and repair the broken places, heal the sick, love the unlovable and to open the doors of those that are held in bondage. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
