I bought a Seiki 32" LC-32GL12F LCD TV to replace my small computer monitor. I bought this TV which can also work as a computer display. This LCD is inexpensive compared to a $400-$500 LED computer monitors. Seiki LCD TV Pros: Price - $199 Good color contrast Supports various connectors from HDMI, composite, AV in/out Cons: Bad reviews on reliability on Newegg.com Roku 2 XD Pros: Price - $79.95 Cutting the cable Internet TV High Def TV Cons: Requires registration. You must provide your name, address, email, and credit card or Paypal information even if you don't want to purchase paid channels. Huge privacy violation in my opinion. Mostly paid channels are displayed. You have to hunt for the free content. Commercials in many of the programs. I know that is not Roku's doing but it's still a negative mark. Zorin OS 7 Pros: Replace Windows with a free secure OS Based on Ubuntu 13.04 Free Open Source alternative to Windows or Mac Supports most HP printers out of the box Replaces thousands of dollars of paid software with open source programs Runs well on low end hardware Cons: Haven't found any yet Broadcom wireless cards on most laptops require the linux-firmware-nonfree package for the Broadcom 43xx series wireless cards to work. Do NOT install the STA drivers...it usually does not work with most Broadcom wireless cards. Install the package by typing the following command into a terminal window and rebooting. Ensure any on/off switch for the wireless interface is enabled. sudo apt-get install linux-firmware-nonfree
