MGM Television (1985/1996)

From a TCM "Movies" airing of The Holcroft Covenant. This is another exception, another logo that you see religiously. The reason I uploaded this is to showcase what TCM's prints of movies are like, they seem to somehow or other get old 4:3 syndication prints of movies nowadays (even the popular ones, Holcroft Covenant has 3.1K votes, more than Wild Geese II, which also used a 4:3 print). What's more interesting is that the Great! Movies Action print of this movie is in 16:9 and is using a way more modern print than this, using the 2012 MGM logo at the beginning, and I know by knowledge that TCM has a closer relationship with MGM than Sony/Great!.
