November 1986 - WWOR Commercial Break for "Forbidden Planet" (with Glitch)

Merry Christmas in July! 1986 commercial break for WWOR's broadcast of "Forbidden Planet." Featuring a glitch at 16:43 in which the broadcast abruptly ends, to be replaced by the "9 in the afternoon" logo for a full 43 seconds (an eternity for Television). Ironically, the movie lines that open and close the glitch were "What's the matter?" and "That's gonna complicate things a bit." ;D 1. "Entertainment Tonight" promo (Love the music at the end) 2.
