In this video, I take a trip to the west side. I wanted to locate bait as usual, so I launched fairly early about 3am and was able to find the halalu schools. They were finicky for the first hour then the bite turned on. I like to call it the golden hour. The last bit of darkness right before the sun starts to rise, they go into a feeding frenzy. I had a few friends join me but they were struggling to catch, so I ended up sharing with them and then drifted off to search for some bigger fish. This trip was a pretty wild ride.
