Chinese Air Force conducts readiness training over South China Sea

Chinese Air Force jets have flown over the Nansha and Huangyan Islands in the South China Sea. Their maneuver is part of the Air Force's combat training to improve readiness against security threats. A senior Air Force official said the drill included air defense warnings, air combat, and island patrolling. China's Air Force conducts regular South China Sea patrols to safeguard state sovereignty, security and maritime interests.
