Hang Gliding: First Time Thermalling - May 21 2017

Lake McClure, California 5/21/2017 Footage from my first soaring flight. Pleasant surprise to learn my camera was capturing altitude and speed... I had no idea. Shows a max altitude of ~4,600' - I'll take it! Battery died mid flight and I didn't capture the latter part of my flight or the landing... which was sweet... #hanggliding #hangglidinglessons #learningtofly
