In this video I do a honey bee cut out from a large tree. This removal is necessary because the tree is dying and needs to be cut down. I put the colony in a bee hive in my apiary. I had to supplement them with drawn brood comb, pollen and honey. As a beekeeper I find that rescuing honey bees and relocating a wild honey bee colony is the most rewarding aspect of beekeeping. I have developed a few tricks that help me along the way and a good bee vacuum sure makes the job easier. I like my Colorado Bee Vac. I would like to thank my friend and former High School class mate, Raymond Bies, for calling me about and helping out with this job. Raymond and the property owners shared all of the honey that came from this wild honey bee colony.
