Day 7 update after cutting a 6 foot tall musa basjoo banana plant to the ground

After seven days, the banana plant is starting to take off. We've got about 8 inches of new growth that's come up and are continuing to increase each day the amount of new growth happening. If you're wondering what you should or should not trim when it comes to cleaning up musa basjoos or other banana plants, this should show you that there's little danger in harming the plant by trimming up a few leaves here and there.
