America's fastest street cars have been fighting for the Midwest Drags win all week. It has come down to the Sick Seconds Camaro (Tom Bailey) and the Cowboy Up Nova (Jason Sack). Drag racing is a tough sport at the best of times, but made even more difficult when you throw in hundreds of miles of street driving (in all seasons) to get between drag strips. An NHRA Top Fuel Dragster gets rebuilt after a quarter mile run - we don't get the same chance! But just like a dragster race, this type of drag racing can get really close. It was just thousandths of a second that separated the leading cars at the end of this week. Better drama than Street Outlaws, this is real! We had to battle an electrical problem, and there's potentially something else wrong with Sick Seconds - she will definitely need an overhaul before we next bring her out. It was a pleasure having Derek from Vice Grip Garage with us. He got to experience what teams like ours, or Cleetus McFarland or any of the other hundreds of competitors get to enjoy. Thanks guys, Tom Bailey
