Crown recommended to lose Melbourne licence

Crown is unsuitable to hold a gaming licence and should be stripped of its rights to run the casino in Melbourne, the counsel assisting a royal commission in Victoria has recommended. It came to the same conclusion as the New South Wales gaming inquiry - that Crown can not be trusted to hold its licence. Counsel assisting said if Crown’s licence is not removed altogether it should be suspended for a period of time.
