Chocolate Chips 1 Cup Unsweetened Peanut Butter 1/2 Cup Softened Butter (you can use salted or unsalted) 1/2 Cup Packed Brown Sugar 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar 1 Large Egg (whisked) 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract 1/2 Teaspoon Salt 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda 1 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour Cream together butter and peanut butter. Mix in white and brown sugar. Mix in egg and vanilla. Sift in flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Mix until combined. I like to divide the dough in half and mix in about one cup of semi sweet chocolate chips to a half of the dough. You can add the chocolate chips to as much of the dough as you like, or omit them all together. Chill the dough for a minimum of one hour up to two hours. Preheat oven to 350° Shape dough into one inch balls and press with the palms of your hands, making them slightly flat. Place on your prepared cookie sheet{s). I line my pan(s) with parchment paper. Allow the cookies room on your pan(s) to bake. I only place eight cookies per pan as these cookies will spread slightly. Using a fork, make a criss cross pattern on the tops of the cookies. Pressing the fork tines down in one direction and then pressing down again in the opposite direction. Bake for 10-12 minutes. I find mine bake for exactly 10 minutes. Let cool on pan(s) for a couple minutes before transferring to your work surface. Makes 24 cookies. This recipe doubles very well if you would like to make more ( 48 Cookies) Refer to the video for instruction/techniques/tips Enjoy!
