Mavic Pro | Cinematic Surfing Film | Best Surf Town In Mexico

As a filmmaker, I need a break from shooting from time to time. Sometimes, just to edit. In January, I flew down to the town of Sayulita, Mexico to do just that and recharge. In a small town, you're bound to meet everyone at some point and I found that so many of the people I met regardless of their jobs, age or gender, were surfers. Not just surfers, but longboard surfers. They tell me that "it's the way the waves break here. It's perfect for a longboard." So I went out with locals to some of their favorite spots after work. It didn't take long for me to understand. It fact, it took just one perfect wave that carried me for what felt like an approximation of forever. That afternoon, we stayed in the water long after the sun set and there was hardly enough light left for us to see our way. I still wanted to take a break from shooting, so I left my camera in my bag, but I knew I had to take my Mavic Pro out for a few flights to at least try to capture some of this.
