God of War III - Chaos Mode 12 - No Upgrade Run (vs Centaur General & Chimera)

God of War III gameplay on the PS3 Chaos Mode - No Upgrade Run With no upgrades, the fight vs the Centaur General becomes MUCH harder. Odds are very high you will die in this battle Beware and keep a close eye on the Legionnaire's axe. From mid-range it will release a shockwave (especially if they're close to the CG) For the Legionnaires best do Combat-Grapple (L1+O) to check them over the edge. Alternately when there's a smaller group, fighting them until the 'O' appears also works for efficient collision damage The bow really comes in handy in this battle. Burn the Legionnaires and if done correctly they'll be near the edge. Finish them off with L1+O like I did The Centaur General is REALLY tough. Stay close and spam Square + Triangle like I did. Spam the bow. Use magic if you have to. Blade of Olympus too IF you feel like it (less effective vs the Chimera).
