Riding the Colorado Backroad Discovery Route in 2022

In mid-June, Chris and I took the small bikes to attempt the Colorado Backroad Discovery Route. On Day 1, we completed the northern section toward the Wyoming terminus and then headed back to Section 5 to head south. Along the way, we found road closures, a pack of bicycles, and a Grizzly Bear. We ended the day moto-camping in a sweet little spot in the foothills. Be sure to look out for Day 2 where we set our sights to the first high passage: the Hagerman Pass.
