Suicide Bombings Kill 41; Injure 84 in Kabul Afghanistan

A string of suicide bombings killed 41, and injured 84 others on Thursday at a cultural center in the Afghan capital Kabul, authorities said. Among those killed in the attack were four women and two children, according to Wahid Majrooh, a Afghan Public Health Ministry spokesperson. Five of the injured people were in critical conditions and most of the wounded were suffering from severe burns, Majrooh added. The attack occurred in the morning after the assailants stormed the Tebyan Social and Cultural Center in the Dasht-i-Barchi neighbourhood in western Kabul while a meeting was underway inside. There were blood stains and debris all over the floor, while windows of a local news agency Sada-e-Afghan (meaning voice of Afghan) on the second floor were all shattered. http://www.cctvplus.com/news/20171229...
