New Smyrna Beach Florida. Sheldon Hotel Ruins

This was formerly the foundation for a hotel that was bombarded and leveled by Union gunships during the American Civil War (circa 1861-65). The foundation is made of local coquina and was placed within a Native American midden that overlooked the southern inlet area of Ponce Inlet. ************* Sorry for my noticeable breathing in the video sound. I was suffeeing from a cold and chest congestion. This was filmed on an iPod Touch 4G on March 4th, 2011. As you will hear, it was very gusty out that weekend.
