I forgot to mention to use ROOT MOTION animations and ENABLE ROOT MOTION must be checked in the animation sequence. This can be done after creating the montage and notifications if you forget. This is a requested video tutorial for switching out montages in Dynamic Combat System even after an ALS (Advanced Locomotion System v4) merge (as per Ebisu's Videos). As long as you are using a data table system this should be applicable to many montages.
