Dr. Robert Nachbar who is a project director in Wolfram Solutions, discusses spread of an infectious virus within a population using compartmental models. Bob got his doctorate of organic chemistry Brown University, and received the Wolfram Innovator Award in 2012. He joined Wolfram Solution in 2014 after retiring from the pharmaceutical industry, where he used Mathematica and other Wolfram technologies for drug design, data analysis and clinical research. He is currently working with a client on epidemiological models for vaccine development.
