Ep 227 | We’re Off! Day One and Our Shakedown Cruise to the Great Barrier Reef, Sailing Whitsundays

It’s day one and we head to the public jetty to fill Nutshell with water and give her a final wash-down before heading off on our sail to the Great Barrier Reef. It’s a shakedown cruise for us to make sure that Nutty is safe and ready for our imminent sail north. We stop at Hook Island and have a little poke around the beach and then sail over to Langford Island and Langford Reef. It’s a beautiful location and there’s a lovely walk up to the lookout.
