sooo they buffed alot of shards, but right now, the buffs that make it so eazy to decimate hoards of enemies is because heavy cannon balls and splody harpoons got buffed heavy cannon ball: gilded, this shard now has a 54% chance per shot to shoot a heavy cannonball, wich instead of scaling of the cannon's defence power, now scales based on the shot's own damage, so for example if it deals 1m damage, because it now deals 34% of this damage stat as damage on hit, it would deal 340k damage splody harpoon: same as the heavy cannonball shard, but this shard has a 52% chance per enemy hit to cause a detonation that deals 49% of the tower's damage to enemies within the radius, these buffs revitalized otherwise useless shards :) for the cannon test, i was using a standard 1010 range, 1010 rate and 1010 piercer servo set, with as shards, mass destruction, gilded destruction and a gilded heavy cannon balls the balista had 1010 def rate, 1010 def range and a non maxed burning bolts for the shards, i used a gilded splody harpoons, gilded oily harpoons and a gilded destruction, auto burning balistas make it deal even crazier damage, sure its damage stat doesnt look too impressive, but with these shards it performs more then adequate
