COVID-19: Saskatchewan announces new restrictions for private gatherings, retail – Dec. 14, 2020

In Regina, Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe and Dr. Saqib Shahab, the province's chief medical officer of health, provide an update on the provincial response to the COVID-19 pandemic. They announce new restrictions in an effort to flow the spread of the coronavirus disease. Private indoor gatherings will be limited to members of immediate households, effective December 17. Retail businesses must reduce their capacity by 50 per cent, as of Christmas Day. Large stores will need to limit their capacity by 25 per cent. Starting on December 19, casinos and bingo halls must close.
